TOPIC:Community meeting – Riverland Fruit Fly outbreak WHERE: Loxton Research Centre – Bookpurnong Road, Loxton WHERE: Wednesday, 19 December 6-7pm
Residents and producers within the 1.5km outbreak area will have an opportunity to receive the latest updates on the fruit fly eradication response around Loxton at a community meeting.
The meeting at 6pm on Wednesday, 19 December at the Loxton Research Centre will feature PIRSA staff involved in the response operations to provide updates on activities and to answer questions from people impacted within the outbreak area.
Since operations commenced last weekend, PIRSA has been issuing information about the outbreak and associated quarantine restrictions and liaising with affected growers and industry.
This meeting provides a further opportunity for the community and PIRSA officers to come together to share information and provide further advice on the efforts required to eliminate fruit fly from the area.
Light refreshments will be provided. Bookings are essential.
