South Australian regional food and wine is coming to Adelaide this Friday 16 October in the first Spring 2015 popup wine showcase event.
A variety of wine from Langhorne Creek, Kangaroo Island and Currency Creek will feature at the ‘Langhorne Creek and Kangaroo Island in Topham Mall’ popup wine event from 4.30pm to 7.30pm.
Up to 20 wineries will open popup cellar doors in Topham Mall at the event that brings South Australia’s wine regions to the heart of the city.
A selection of Kangaroo Island produce from Island Pure will be on offer to taste, and food from local traders, including Lady Burra Brewhouse, will also be available.
Lady Burra Brewhouse will be serving beer, paella and salad as well as Portuguese tarts.
‘Langhorne Creek and Kangaroo Island on Topham Mall’ is being run in partnership with the South Australian Wine Industry Association, Langhorne Creek Grape & Wine Inc, Kangaroo Island Industry & Brand Allianceand Primary Industries and Regions SA.
Aqua Pura water supplied by Bickford’s will also be available at the event.
The Coonawarra and McLaren Vale regions will showcase their wines at future events in the CBD in November and December 2015 respectively.
