The Department of Industry, Innovation and Science is providing a highly interactive workshop which will help focus your skills on the practical elements of food product development and innovation.
It will provide you with knowledge on how to select the right food products to develop and how to make them successful.
The Presenter, Adam Basheer, will introduce you to innovative tools and techniques that will assist you to decide on:
- Where to start and what steps to take
- Food product strategy and development
- Product portfolio management
- Brand development and product positioning
- Feedback from supermarket category managers
- Common mistakes and pitfalls
- The keys to success
Upon completion of the workshop you will be offered the opportunity to undergo one on one follow-up mentoring with Adam, to gain assistance in choosing which actions are priorities for your product, and how to put the actions in place.
Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are provided.
