PIRSA's Limestone Coast Regional Coordinator Peta Crewe, also Drought Coordinator for the region, said she hoped everyone would stop by the tent at site 270 and see what information they could garner.
"PIRSA will have a number of expert staff on hand to discuss the latest news and information on soil management, biosecurity measures for animal and plant health, livestock identification, fisheries and aquaculture and more," Peta said.
"In particular we'll have staff available to discuss the drought management support PIRSA's offering in the region.
"We had a great turn out to the Drought Workshops we've been running over the past fortnight, but if you missed the one near you, please come to the PIRSA tent and chat to one of our staff.
"PIRSA's Rural Solutions SA representatives will be there to discuss soil acidity, the New Horizons soil improvement project, as well as drought management and Seed Services Australia.
"PIRSA staff will also be available for a chat about the Federal Government's concessional loan schemes available for South Australian farm businesses impacted by drought.
"Our Biosecurity SA staff will be there to answer questions about animal and plant diseases, disease surveillance, livestock identification requirements, and will have free farm gate biosecurity signs for you to pick up.
"Fisheries and Aquaculture and the Fishcare volunteers will be able to answer any questions you may have about recreational fishing, as well."
Natural Resources South East will be sharing the tent with PIRSA at site 270, along with exhibits from Rural Business Support, Department of Human Services and DrumMUSTER / ChemClear.
