South Australian floods

Assessment

Farmers requiring assistance with livestock, horticulture or land management issues can call Primary Industries and Regions SA (PIRSA) on the PIRSA Flood Recovery Hotline on (08) 8207 7847.

The assessment hotline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

On-site assessments are continuing by PIRSA officers who are working with industry groups, including Primary Producers SA and the Horticulture Coalition of SA, to determine the full extent of the damage. It is expected to be a number of days until the full extent of the damage is known.

Farmers or landowners wishing to obtain further advice on the ongoing treatment of injured livestock should contact their local veterinarian.

Assistance

For all recovery issues, call the State Recovery Hotline on 1800 302 787 or visit the South Australian Government’s Emergencies and Safety website.

PIRSA also recommends that horticulture producers contact their grower groups for assistance and support.
