The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Coordinator, Far North to be part of our Regions SA Division within PIRSA. The role reports to Manager Regional Engagement, Regions SA.

The Regional Coordinator Far North is part of the Regional Engagement Team within Regions SA. The incumbent will be responsible for leading a targeted, whole-of-region based approach to the identification of priorities and opportunities for regional economic development, jobs growth and capacity building, government priorities and programs. With a focus on developing and maintaining links to a range of PIRSA programs and services, the incumbent will advocate between regions and across government.

Special conditions

This is a contract / term vacancy up to 24 months. A current driver’s license is essential. The incumbent is required to work in the Far North region, Port Augusta and Whyalla.  Remote and intrastate travel will be required, interstate travel may be required on occasion. Some out of hours work may be required. A tertiary qualification in business, commerce, economics or relevant field is desirable.
