The Eyre Peninsula Field Days are back this week and will see 500 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors gathering in Cleve to showcase the latest innovation in agriculture through the state.

After being cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19, the biennial field day, which is organised by a dedicated committee of volunteers, provides primary producers an opportunity to see and experience a wide range of new products, technologies and management systems.

Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development Clare Scriven who is attending the field days, said the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) will also be providing the latest information about biosecurity, soil management, farming practices, commercial and recreational fishing and more.

Experts will be on hand to share details about PIRSA’s activity in the Eyre Peninsula as well as across the state which will cover animal health, plant health, AgTech, SA Drought Hub, SA Sheep Connect, fisheries and information relevant programs run by other State Government departments.
