Public consultation is currently open on an application received from Angel Seafood Infrastructure Pty Ltd for four new intertidal mollusc (oyster) aquaculture licences in Streaky Bay, South Australia.
About the aquaculture application
PIRSA is currently assessing the application which proposes the farming of Pacific Oysters (Crassostrea gigas) using contained longline farming structures.

Location of proposed activity
The proposed activity is located within the intertidal waters of the Haslam (north Bank) aquaculture zone, identified within the Aquaculture (Zones—Streaky Bay) Policy 2011.
