Lyndon milks up to 330 Guernsey cows at his property located at Glencoe in the South East.

Penny Schulz (Deputy Chair)

Livestock SA Representative

Penny is co-owner and manager of Schulz Livestock; a beef and sheep farming operation in the Upper South East and also consults to the dairy, beef and sheep industries. She’s a board member of Livestock SA and a director of the Australian Beef Industry Foundation (ABIF).

Tom Honner

Beef Industry Representative

Tom is a 5th generation mixed cattle, sheep, and cropping farmer on the southern Yorke Peninsula.  Tom runs a stud cattle operation producing seed stock used in every state of Australia, with genetics also exported.

Karen Dennis

Beef Industry Representative and Deputy Chair

Karen lives and works on a cattle, cropping and commercial & stud sheep family farm at Koppio on the lower Eyre Peninsula, with an interest in another family farm at Farrell Flat in the Mid North. Karen also works off-farm part-time as a farm advisor.

Sharon Joppich

South Australian Dairyfarmers’ Association (SADA) Representative

Sharon currently operates a 350 cow dairy with her husband on a property north of Kalangadoo SA. In the past Sharon has held the position of Operations Manager coordinating all aspects of staff, herd and farm operations for up to 2,300 cows.

Adam Litchfield

Pastoral Beef Representative

Adam and his family run an organically accredited beef and lamb property near Maree in South Australia’s far north. Adam and his wife Kate have two children who will be the fourth generation of Litchfields on the property.

Harriet Keatley

Beef Industry Representative

Harriet and her husband have run their livestock business in Mount Gambier for the past 16 years. Harriet also served 2 years on the Australian Livestock and Property Agents Association Board, and worked for Australian Livestock Marketing Agents, who govern the Saleyards throughout Australia.

Amanda Pacitti

Dairy Industry Representative

Along with her husband and two sons, Mandy owns and operates a 350 cow dairy at Hindmarsh Tiers on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Mandy is heavily involved in promoting the SA Dairy Industry, especially developing opportunities for youth.

Dr Elise Spark

Ministerial Representative

Dr Elise Spark has worked as a veterinarian for PIRSA since 2012 after seven years in private veterinary practice. Her experience includes animal health disease surveillance systems; emergency preparedness and response; on-farm biosecurity and abattoir surveillance.
