Freshwater species found in South Australia. Has been found in a creek south of Adelaide.

Speckled Livebearer is a small exotic aquarium fish that can:

  • degrade water quality
  • displace native species.

What to look for:

  • small fish similar to Mosquito fish
  • distinctive black spots and blotches on the side of the body
  • females can grow up to 6 cm
  • yellow colour.
