The program’s food technologists have a proven track record of providing practical scientific and technical assistance to benefit the industry.

The food technologists have industry-based experience and common areas of work include:

  • shelf life
  • sensory assessments.

For more complex issues and product development opportunities, they can assist to scope out further work that is required and provide recommendations on funding opportunities.

The food technologists can also conduct project work on a fee-for-service basis.
