Regional Budget Chapter

The State Government's commitment to supporting economic growth and jobs creation in the regions is highlighted in each State Budget, which includes a chapter providing information about the new initiatives that provide opportunities for regional South Australia.

The regional chapter of the 2016-17 State Budget is now available in a format which includes case studies to highlight some of the projects the Government is involved in regionally which align with the 10 economic priorities of the state.

The 2016-17 State Budget contained a range of new funding initiatives in the regions totaling around $384 million over the next five years.

The Regional Budget Chapter document is now available on the Primary Industries and Regions SA website, along with a number of other links to regional-specific information as part of the 2016-17 budget handed down on 7 July.
