South Australians are being asked to provide ideas about growing our reputation as the nation’s food and wine state during a phone-in on Wednesday 25 November.
The State Government’s GOVchat initiative provides you with direct access to key decision makers. Call in between 5.30-7.30pm and you can share your thoughts with Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries Leon Bignell, Minister for Regional Development Geoff Brock, PIRSA chief executives and executive directors, as well as Premium Food and Wine Ambassadors including Simon Bryant, Mark Laucke, Paul Henry, Gareth Lewis and Rosa Matto.
Food and wine are pivotal to our state’s identity and prosperity. In 2013-14 the food and wine industries generated $17.1 billion in revenue, with the broader agribusiness sector employing one in five South Australian workers.
GOVchat provides every South Australian, no matter where you live or work, with the chance to have your voice heard. If callers can’t get through on the night, questions and ideas can also be posted on the YourSay website.
