Callum Hann

Callum Hann became the fresh new face of cooking in 2010 when he was runner-up in MasterChef at the age of 19, and he hasn't looked back – in fact, he went on to win MasterChef Australia All Stars in 2012.

Today he jointly runs the innovative Sprout Cooking School and works as the brand ambassador for the Adelaide Produce Market. Callum is also a presenter on Channel 7’s SA Weekender, and travels to all the regions sharing the stories of some of our state's best producers and food businesses.

Callum set up Sprout with his best friend Themis Chryssidis, an accredited practising dietitian. Classes are hands-on and tailored to individual needs, cooking abilities and budgets. In September 2020, Callum opened Lou’s Place, a mediterranean restaurant at Lou Miranda Estate in the Barossa Valley. It has since expanded to incorporate a catering business and a health studio.

Callum has also written three cookbooks – based on his philosophy that food should be simple, seasonal and fresh – and toured Australian universities teaching students how to cook and eat well.
