Historical reports
Across Australia, the movements of numerous sharks, rays, and finfish species are monitored using acoustic telemetry tags and a network of archival and real-time receiver stations. The detection of tagged marine fauna in South Australia is currently by a small network of archival receivers, which are serviced and uploaded every 12 months onto the Australian Animal Acoustic Telemetry Database.
