Developmental fishing permits DP0013 and DP0014
PIRSA has received 2 applications for developmental fishery permits for commercial harvesting of Turbo (Lunella undulatus).
PIRSA is seeking feedback on the draft conditions for developmental permits DP0013 and DP0014, which detail the management arrangements under which the permits will operate.
Proposed management
DP0013
- Issued for a 12-month period from 1 October 2026 until 30 September 2027.
- Must not take more than 13,000 kg of Turbo with no more than a cumulative total of 8,000 kg taken from Marine Fishing Areas 39, 41, 42, 43, 44A, 44B, 45, 46, 48 and 49.
- No more than a cumulative total of 10,000 kg taken from Marine Fishing Areas 51, 55, 56 and 58.

DP0014
- Issued for a 12-month period from 1 October 2026 until 30 September 2027.
- Must not take more than 6,000 kg of Turbo from Marine Fishing Areas 10, 15, 16, 17, 18, 27 and 28.
