Reconciliation Action Plan
In collaboration with First Nations people, the Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) aims to build tangible, enduring change and equity for First Nations people and communities in South Australia.
Our vision is to have respectful, long-term relationships with First Nations people and communities.
We aim to create opportunities for First Nations people in primary industries and regional development.
Our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan details how we plan to achieve this vision.
Reconciliation Working Group
Our Reconciliation Working Group is responsible for coordinating our Reconciliation Action Plan.
The working group comprises representatives, including First Nations employees, from each agency division.
We are committed to Closing the Gap in First Nations disadvantage and increasing First Nations participation in primary industries and developing our regions.
