- Personal daily bag limit: 5
- Daily boat limit when 3 or more people are fishing on board: 15

Golden Perch have been released into the following South Australian reservoirs for recreational fishing:
- Myponga Reservoir
- Warren Reservoir
- South Para Reservoir
- Bundaleer Reservoir.
Different limits apply to fishing Golden Perch in these reservoirs:
- Minimum legal length: 33 cm
- Personal daily bag limit: 2
