More than $3.57 million worth of regional community projects will be brought to life thanks to the State Government’s Enabling Infrastructure Program.

Part of the annual $15 million Thriving Regions Fund, the program offers grants from $50,000 up to $1 million for infrastructure projects that strengthen and build strong regional communities.

Among the successful projects in the latest round are a new multi-use docking system at Lincoln Cove Marina, an expansion of the Balaklava Community Children’s Centre, refurbishment of the Riverton Community Hall and a makeover of the Langhorne Creek Memorial Park Community Complex.

The grants support projects that can start within six months and be completed within two years of receiving funding.
