Using poison baits in SA
The following legal requirements under the Agricultural and Veterinary Products (Control of Use) Act 2002 apply to poison baits:
- use products that are registered for use in South Australia
- follow product label instructions and directions for use
- do not possess or use home-made baits.
All Australian states and territories support 1080 baiting for pest animal management.
