Drought wellbeing support
Drought affects more than production and cashflow. It can add pressure to family life, decision making, relationships and mental health.
That is why the Drought Support Package includes $1 million for health and wellbeing initiatives for regional communities. This program is administered by PIRSA and offers a range of non-clinical activities that bolster existing mental health services in regional areas.
This program is complementary to the Drought Mental Health Support program delivered by SA Health, and both are focussed on keeping people and communities connected, informed and supported.
What support is available
PIRSA is proud to partner with the following organisations to provide free events and activities in regional areas that are open to all community members.
