Weather station – Green Brain
Green Brain’s weather station collects a range of accurate metrics to inform your farming decisions.

Benefits
Understanding local microclimates can have a profound impact on:
- chemical spray times
- irrigation and fertigation scheduling.
The weather station provides localised data that can be more accurate than data from the regional Bureau of Meteorology. This is especially important when the weather station is located far away from your farm.
Green Brain's dashboard shows a clear overview of current and historic weather data for your property.
How it works
The Green Brain weather station measures metrics including:
- air temperature
- relative humidity
- wind speed and direction
- solar radiation
- rainfall.
From this information it can calculate Delta-T, evapotranspiration, chill portions, and growing-degree days.
The weather station has a SIM that can connect to the cloud. Data is viewed via the Green Brain dashboard on a computer or mobile device.
