Roseworthy campus

The University of Adelaide's Roseworthy campus provides high quality education and training services, including a fully accredited veterinary school.

The campus is renowned for dryland agriculture, natural resource management, veterinary science and animal production. Its well-equipped facilities are used by:

  • experienced SARDI scientists
  • specialist extension officers
  • university academics.

Facilities and capabilities

The Roseworthy campus houses a working farm which accommodates SARDI's pigs and poultry program. Research, development and education activities are conducted on campus as part of the:

  • Southern Star Poultry Alliance
  • Southern Pork Alliance and Ruminant Livestock Systems Alliance.

The South Australian Aquatic Biosecurity Centre is co-located with the Roseworthy campus. It provides secure conditions for aquatic sciences research into aquatic pathogens, and pests that threaten our marine ecosystems and fisheries.
