Brianna Guidera

Biography

Brianna has worked within the SARDI Crop Sciences group in the Crop Agronomy and Soils research teams since 2021. Her research areas include soil carbon, top and sub-soil acidity, soil salinity, sustainable farming systems, and native vegetation in farming systems. She enjoys hands-on, applied research and extension.

  • Management of top- and sub-soil constraints including salinity, acidity, fertility, and physical limitations
  • Crop and pasture management in low-rainfall agricultural systems
  • Soil phosphorus management and optimisation
  • The role of native vegetation in profitable and sustainable farming systems
  • Optimising crop, pasture, and livestock efficiencies for greenhouse gas management
  • Precision agriculture in crops and soils
  • Soil fertility and crop nutrition
