Associate Professor Gretchen Grammer

Biography

Associate Professor Grammer is the Research Director for the Aquatic and Livestock Sciences Division at the South Australian Research and Development Institute (SARDI). She has worked in the field of marine science for more than two decades and specialises in fish ecology and biology, and fisheries science with a focus on forage fish such as sardine and mackerels. Associate Professor has led extended scientific survey cruises on SARDI’s research vessel, the MRV Ngerin, and her expertise also includes substantial knowledge of seafloor habitats along Australia’s southern coast.

Associate Professor has a strong collaborative background and works with many different stakeholders from universities, government agencies, industry associations, and others in natural resource management.
