Natalie Dowsett
Biography
Natalie joined SARDI in 2007 and her current research focus involves food safety and market access for Seafood. She has been the Executive Officer of SafeFish since its inception in 2010, a long-term research project funded primarily by the Fisheries Research & Development Corporation (FRDC) assisting the Australian seafood industry deal with food safety and market access issues. Prior to this, she coordinated an annual residue testing program for Australian Aquaculture to enable export of their products to Europe and its member nations. She has also facilitated a number of R&D projects relating to food safety in seafood and published relevant journal articles relating to her research.
