With over 15 years in biological research and Genebank management, this professional currently serves as a Seed and Database Officer at the Australian Pastures Genebank (APG). Holding a bachelor’s degree in Biological Science (Microbiology) and a Diploma in Science, they specialize in seed preservation,  data management, and compliance with biosecurity standards.

Experienced in advanced platforms like Grin-Global, Genesys, and SQL, they expertly handle seed databases, international and national seed transfers, and plant material imports and exports.Previous roles include Research Officer at the University of Adelaide’s Grain Biochemistry group, where they conducted advanced molecular assays (e.g., ELISA, PCR), managed RNA/DNA extractions, and supported academic projects.

Certified in Biosecurity Awareness and skilled in developing SOPs, they bring strong analytical and organizational abilities to seed conservation and data system management, contributing significantly to agricultural research and sustainability efforts.
