Dr Nicole Thompson
Biography
Dr Thompson has over 20 years of research and expertise in plant pathology, disease diagnostics and biosecurity management. She has specialist expertise in plant virology with a background in genetics, diagnostics and management of plant diseases.
Nicole has a passion for outreach and education and strives to manage a research portfolio that delivers real results for the South Australian agriculture sector. The Plant Health and Diagnostics Program works with all major primary industries in SA to identify and mitigate disease threats and preserve best practice in plant disease management.
