Dr Yusuf Genc
Biography
Dr Yusuf Genc has over two decades of experience in abiotic stress tolerance (nutrient deficiency and toxicity) in cereals. He was a postdoctoral research fellow at the School of Agriculture, Food and& Wine, University of Adelaide, between 2002 and 2009.
He joined SARDI in 2009. His current work focuses on developing bread wheat varieties tolerant to salinity, and varieties with improved yield potential via manipulating spike architectural traits. He has published in numerous scientific journals.
