eID Advantage Program

South Australia's eID Advantage Program is designed to help producers and the supply chain transition from visual tags and traditional mob-based movements to the individual eID traceability system for sheep and farmed goats.

The program supports sheep and goat producers to:

  • better understand their legal responsibilities for transferring animals with eID and recording movements on the National Livestock Identification System (NLIS)
  • build confidence and capability using the NLIS database
  • grow understanding of how they can use eID data for improved decision making.

Program delivery is being managed by PIRSA in collaboration with a range of project partners including Meat and Livestock Australia, AWI Extension SA and Livestock SA.
