Fishing limits search
Recreational fishers must comply with the daily fishing limits for marine and freshwater species caught in South Australian waters.
All limits apply for a 24-hour period from midnight to midnight. Once you have caught the limit for a species, you are not allowed to take any more.
See the explanations for size, bag and boat limits, including how to request a measuring device. Limits may vary for charter boat fishing.
Use the search function to find the daily fishing limits for each species. Any species that is not listed in the search does not have size or bag limit restrictions – take only what you need for personal use.
