Supporting grain and crop industries

We work with businesses, grain traders and exporters, grain processors, and the community to grow South Australia's grain and crop production.

This includes promoting whole-of-chain sustainability, and seeking opportunities for research, development, and investment.

About grains and crops

PIRSA regulates the state's grain and crop industries by ensuring that production systems are environmentally sustainable. We make sure that any changes to the scope of the grains sector are beneficial to rural and regional areas.

SA's grains are checked to satisfy specific market demands before they leave the state, keeping the industry value chain internationally competitive.
