Regional growth and recovery

PIRSA delivers a range of funding opportunities and support services to primary producers and people based in regional areas.

We promote industry growth and help communities in the aftermath of disaster events, such as bushfires, floods and heavy storms, or drought.

Support options for primary producers

The Department of Primary Industries and Regions (PIRSA) provides and supports funds, initiatives and programs that develop our state's agricultural sector.

Grants are available to help primary producers overcome industry challenges and meet regulatory obligations. This includes financial relief for regions and businesses that are affected by emergency events.

We encourage anyone who needs assistance to access the following services and information:

  • mentoring and counselling
  • mental health and wellbeing support
  • business and legal advice from non-governmental organisations.
