Investment in regions

We administer funding for the State Government’s investment in regional South Australia. This includes:

  • Regional Development Australia (RDA)
  • Mobile Phone Black Spot Fund (MPBSF).

These key areas of investment are aligned with the Australian Government.

Grant offer for RDA Associations

Purpose: to develop and implement viable projects, allowing recipients to address regional opportunities or issues.

Leadership 2022-2023

Purpose: to identify leadership development needs in each region, supporting participants to take part in relevant programs.

It will provide a pipeline of future leaders who represent the diversity of people living and working across regional South Australia.

Funding is calculated at the not-for-profit (NFP) sector indexation rate for 2022-23.

Funding allocation – $283,500 for each recipient over 2 years, including the indexed value for the second year of this agreement.
