Fishing limits
Octopus are rarely caught recreationally, but they can be if permitted devices are used.
Octopus do not have a size, bag, or boat limit restrictions. Take only what you need for personal use.
Closures
You must not target or take any cephalopod species (Squid, Cuttlefish, and Octopus) at any time in the Cephalopod Exclusion Zone in waters of False Bay, Spencer Gulf.
