Rilka Warbanoff

Rilka Warbanoff is a cook, teacher, entrepreneur, author and radio personality.

In the early 1990s, Rilka moved to Melbourne, established an executive placement business, and was twice named as a finalist in the Telstra Business Woman of the Year awards.

Known for her contribution to the community, Rilka served as director of St Vincent Hospital and the Melbourne Zoo Foundation, and has sat on numerous boards including those of UNICEF and Plan International.

Rilka’s first love has always been food, and since returning home to South Australia, she has made her mark on the thriving Adelaide food scene.

Rilkaʼs Real Food and Rilkaʼs Kitchen are her latest business ventures, and she is FiveAA Adelaide’s resident foodie.

As the director of the Australia-Israel Chamber of Commerce in South Australia, Rilka has led many trade missions to Israel and has been instrumental in fostering relationships between government and business in both countries.

Her book, Rilka’s Feasts, was published by HarperCollins in 2012.
