Soil analysis sensor – CropX

A soil probe and data platform that creates crop-specific recommendations to improve your yield.

The CropX probe automatically generates irrigation and fertigation prescriptions, which are highly adaptive. This helps to maximise your yield quality, while significantly saving on water, fertiliser, energy, and labour.

CropX can factor disease risk into your irrigation schedules and chemical spray times, to safeguard your crops.

How it works

CropX is a capacitance sensor for soil moisture, temperature and electrical conductivity. It takes measurements at 20cm and 46cm.

Time intervals between measurements can be remotely adjusted, according to the unique needs and growth stage of your crops.

The data is integrated with weather forecasts and satellite imagery in an online platform. This is used to:

• recommend customised water and fertiliser applications
• predict disease risk.

Easy self-install unit that can be relocated in 5 minutes.

Power is supplied through a long-life rechargeable battery.

4G coverage, satellite, or Bluetooth.

Upfront cost with ongoing subscription fees. Lease options are available for large volumes.
