Pasture renovator – FarmTech Aervator

The FarmTech Aervator is a pasture renovator designed to reduce soil compaction and fertiliser runoff.

Aervator detached from tractor at the Struan and Kybybolite AgTech demonstration farm.

Benefits

Soil compaction is a common issue for producers, caused by years of livestock and vehicle movement without intervention.

The Aervator GH3004 One Pass Renovator provides a minimal till solution to your property by:

  • improving the quality of soil and plant growth
  • reducing run off
  • promoting the growth of a beneficial soil microbiome.

By improving root access to water and nutrients, paddocks are made more resilient to drought conditions.

How it works

The Aervator is towed through the paddock behind a tractor. Tines on the machine pass through the soil and twist, relieving soil compaction without affecting plants already growing in the paddock.

The holes created in the soil allow water, air, and nutrients to get deeper into the soil and root systems of the plant.

The Aervator system is available as a 3PL or trailing system, in either a folding or fixed-frame configuration. The renovator is customisable with a working width of 2 to 12 metres. The axle angle can be adjusted to soil conditions.
