Two new Queensland fruit fly outbreaks have been declared in Bookpurnong B and New Residence B, and the total number of outbreaks since December 2020 is now 50.

Abalone viral ganglioneuritis detected in South Australia

Abalone viral ganglioneuritis (AVG) has been confirmed in wild abalone in waters south of Port Macdonnell, the first time the disease has been found in South Australia. Restrictions are now in place in the area.

Virus detected in South Australian bats
