Darren Thomas

Darren Thomas is the chief executive officer of Thomas Foods International (TFI).

Under the stewardship of Darren and his father and company founder Chris Thomas, TFI has grown from a small family company into Australia’s largest 100% family-owned meat processing company with a proven track record for trading premium lamb, beef and mutton products. TFI exports 80% of its production into 80 export markets and has earned a reputation as a global leader in process efficiency and product quality.

The TFI group of companies generates an annual turnover in excess of $2 billion and employs more than 3000 people globally.

Darren is a former inaugural chair and board member of Brand South Australia, former member of the Economic Development Board, a board member for a number of charitable organisations and is a member of the South Australian chapter of the internationally renowned Young Presidents Organisation.
