Kangaroo Island AgTech Demonstration Program
The Kangaroo Island (KI) AgTech Demonstration Program supports the agricultural sector and showcases how technology can improve farm management.
The program is funded through the Australian Government Regional Recovery Partnerships program.
Through partnering with the island's primary producers, we are integrating AgTech on local farms. This presents an opportunity for KI producers to review their businesses and help drive recovery in response to the 2019-20 bushfires.
Program benefits
The program identifies key farm processes and decisions supported by AgTech. It highlights the value of technology solutions to improve productivity, profitability, and best practice systems.
The program allows primary producers to interact with a range of AgTech before investing in products and services.
It also helps developers and suppliers to engage with primary producers, making sure their technology products are user-centric and effective.
